Community infrastructure and amenities

Working alongside South Derbyshire District Council, Melbourne Parish Council and local stakeholders Alexander Bruce Estates commissioned the redevelopment of the original Public Convenience to create a modern and easily maintained facility for Melbourne.

We used high quality building materials including clay roof tiles, terca bricks, cast iron rainwater goods and oak door. Internally the building is fitted out to the latest standards, incorporating disabled and baby changing facilities. The building is designed to contribute in a positive way to the conservation area and enhance the arrival experience into this bustling market village.
